Salman Khan and Bhagyashree led Suraj Barjatya's film Maine Pyar Kiya started two superb actors in major roles, and was the highest grossing movie of that year. 1) Salman Khan was not the first choice for Prem
Earlier Salman Khan played the role of love, many new actors were considered and auditioned for the role. Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Tiwari and Piyush Misra are some of the names that are considered for the role, before Salman made it himself. Reema Lagoo, who played Salman’s mother in the film, was only 7 years older than him. Reema Lagoo passed away earlier this year.
The popular song “Mere Rang Mein Rangnevali” was actually copied from Europe’s “The Final Countdown.”
